Xing Zheng was born in Zhejiang province, P. R. China in 1983. He received the B.Eng. degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, P. R. China in 2006 and received the Ph.D degree in Electronic Engineering from Bangor University, UK in 2011. He joined Hangzhou Dianzi University (Hangzhou, P. R. China) in School of Electronics and Information in 2011 and is now an associate professor. He was also a visiting research fellow in the Rince Institute, Dublin City University from February 2013 to August 2013.
His major research interests include optical OFDM, high speed tran**ission, passive optical networks, NetFPGA, and energy efficient router and networking. He hosts funding supported by Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (ZJNSF), and participated in FP7 EU ECONET project and FP7 EU project of ICT ALPHA. He has generated more than 30 papers in International journals and conferences.
