1. Electronic Science and Technology


This major has been established since 1999 and successfully runs for almost 20 years. With tremendous effort on the construction and refinment of courses as well as the innovation practices, our faculty and students keep improving constantly. The major is recognized as the Zhejiang province key major in 2007, national first-class specialized major in 2009, Twelve-Five-Year provincial excellent major in 2011 and Thirteen-Five-Year provincial excellent major in 2016. Each academic year, two or three classes of new students are enrolled into this major. 


By September 2018, there are already 924 bachelors graduated from the major of Electronic Science and Technology since 2000.


Core Courses:

Circuits, signal and systems, digital circuits, EM field and EM wave, communication circuits and systems, EDA technology, EMC theory and applications, sensors, SCM applications, electronic materials and devices, semiconductor physics and microelectronic devices, power eletronics, etc.

2. Electronic Information Engineering


This major has been established since 1980. For over 30 years of development, graduated bachelors exceeded 6000 people already. It is endowed as the key major of Zhejiang province since the very beginning,  the national specialized major in 2007 and the national defense key major in 2008. It is also the Twelve-Five-Year provincial excellent major in 2011 and Thirteen-Five-Year provincial excellent major in 2016. 


Since 2013, the Excellent Engineer Project is launched by the Ministry of Education. The Electronic Information Engineering major won the opportunity to participate this project and designed a parallel program under the same major but involving more high tech enterprises for internships.

Circuits, signal and systems, digital circuits, EM field and EM wave, communication circuits and systems, EDA technology, computer principle and interface, digital signal processing, communication principle, signal detection and processing, etc.

3. Integrated Circuits and Systems

It is an interdisciplinary major involving the fieds of electronics and electrical engineering, computer skills and telecommunication. Students are required to master circuit principles and design methods, computer aided techniques and get acquainted with IC system design, test and ****ysis. Related skills are highly applicable in IT industries as well as scientific research.


Core Courses:

Semiconductor physics and devices, microelectronic processing and testing, ****ogue circuits, digital circuits, signal and systems, communication circuits and systems, etc.

4. Electronic Information Science and Technology

It is an interdisciplinary major involving the fieds of electronics and electrical engineering, computer skills and telecommunication. Students are required to master circuit principles and design methods, computer aided techniques and get acquainted with IC system design, test and ****ysis. Related skills are highly applicable in IT industries as well as scientific research.


Core Courses:

Circuit ****ysis, signal and systems, ****ogue circuits, communication circuits and systems, digital circuits,EM field theory, basics of microwave technique, communication principle, antenna principle and design, microwave circuit and system design, SCM applications, embedded system design, etc.

5. Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering

This major focuses on the optical electronics related science and applications. The areas covered by our faculty are optoelectronic detection, computational imaging and optoelectric materials and devices. Optoelectronics is significant and extensively employed in energy areas, national defence, automation and space technologies. 


Core Courses:

College physics, advanced mathematics, linear algebra, circuits, digital circuits, probability and statistics, signal and systems, EDA technology, digital signal processing, optical communication, optoelectronics, physical optics, etc.
