Dr Wang Ying was born in 1977. He received the Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2005. He is currently a professor with School of Electronic Information, Hangzhou Dianzi University.
His main research interests include power semiconductor devices and reliability, wide bandgap semiconductor devices and technology. As the project leader, he presides major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation from the Ministry of Education and the Provincial, and participates in major projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and key projects of national defense basic research, etc. He has published more than 90 papers in international journals including IEEE TED, IEEE EDL and IEEE TNS. He won the second prize in Provincial level Natural Science Award, and was awarded the Prize of Excellent Young Scientist in Heilongjiang Province.
