Prof. Dunhui Wang, the doctoral supervisor of Hangzhou Dianzi University, received his Ph.D. degree of science from Nanjing University in 2004. He contributed himself to research and teaching activities at School of Physics of Nanjing University from 1994 to 2019. Since 2020, he has worked at School of Electronics and Information, Hangzhou Dianzi University as the leader of Materials and Technology of Magneto-electronics research group.
Prof. Wang is the chief scientist of the “National Key R&D Program of China” and supported by “Program for New Century Excellent Talents (NCET)” of the Ministry of Education. He is also awarded as the leading talents of scientific and technological innovation in the “Ten-thousand Talents Plan of Zhejiang Province” and talents of “333 Project of Jiangsu Province”. He serves as the director of Functional Materials Society of China, convener of the National Youth Conference on Magnetics, committee member of Applied Magnetics Council of Chinese Institute of Electronics as well as Magnetic Refrigeration Council of Chinese Society of Rare Earths.
He has long devoted into researches on materials and technologies of magneto-electronics, published over 160 SCI-collected papers in Adv. Mater., ACS Nano and Sci. Adv. as the first or corresponding author. His paper has been cited more than 3000 times with H factor 36. He has presided over 10 national projects including “National Key R&D Program of China”, the subtask of “National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program)”, “National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)” and “Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University”. He acquired the Second Prize of Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Province as the first accomplisher. Under the guidance of Prof. Wang, his students acquired the honorary titles of “Excellent Doctoral thesis of Jiangsu Province” and “Excellent Master thesis of Jiangsu Province”.
